I've used an entirely different palette. I thought I was getting too comfortable with my own so I emailed one of my favorite artists and asked about his choice of color. All Holbein colors that are very odd - at least for me. No more sap greens or windsor violets; more like juane brilliant, foundation umber #3, and compose green.

How I design makeup

This is my process for creating make-up designs. I've been looking at 

early Blade Runner designs particularly with the character Pris. I noticed the simplicity

of shape they used and tried to emulate that.  However, I slowly introduced more color and 

went off.

Moving on for now...I wanted my marks to stay open. I slowly 

began inching towards the surface with #2 brights. It felt like I was suffocating it. The white 

is a true issue when on skin - reflection of skin/hair. However I switched from straight galkyd gel to an actual mixture with gamsol. The consistency is a refresher for me but it allowed for milkiness.
